Medoro e Vitalizio, i due protagonisti, sin da bambini attendono l'arrivo di qualcosa di nuovo. Il loro paese è lontano da tutto e così anche le loro vite sembrano trascorrere senza servire alla storia. La loro vita è una catena fatta di piccole rivoluzioni fallite ma allo stesso tempo è anche scandita da cataclismi che cambiano il profilo delle cose. Il testo riflette sulla dimensione legata al gioco teatrale e sulle possibili forme di porsi rispetto all'interpretazione.
Vitalizio e Medoro non sanno di giocare al teatro, semplicemente si pongono problemi d'interpretazione cercando forme per essere convincenti. Brutta canaglia la solitudine è una storia surreale, che racconta la fragilità di tutti davanti al destino. Una fragilità bella, la fragilità di chi non smetterà mai di resistere ...

En écrivant le texte de "La solitude est une mauvaise canaille...", nous avons mené notre réflexion sur le jeu théâtral et les différentes façons de se positionner face à l'interprétation. Vitalizio et Medoro, les deux personnages, affrontent le jeu théâtral en partant de différentes références. Ils ne sont pas conscients qu'en essayant de monter un faux miracle pour l'évêque, ils sont en fait en train de faire du théâtre. Ils se posent sans le savoir des questions sur le problème de l'interprétation lorsqu'ils cherchent à être le plus convainquant possible. En essayant et en répétant, ils structurent une action théâtrale en partant de points de vue très différents. C'est ce qui se passe depuis longtemps déjà dans le théâtre contemporain: les différentes écoles se caractérisent par leur
différentes façons de concevoir la "vérité" sur la scène. "La solitude est une mauvaise canaille..." est un spectacle surréel, qui raconte la fragilité de tous par rapport aux grandes questions que chacun se pose ...

Medoro and Vitalizio, the two protagonists, as children await the arrival of something new. Their country is so far from everything and also seem to spend their lives without serving the story. Their life is a chain made of small revolutions failed, but at the same time is also marked by cataclysmic events that change the profile of things. The text reflects the possible forms of interpretation. Vitalizio and Medoro do not know to play at the theater, they simply pose problems of interpretation by looking for ways to be persuasive.
